Originally the first course designed by Tom Doak in 1986, High Pointe had been closed for years before undergoing a thoughtful and ambitious revival. The project restored and reinterpreted the original design intent, blending resurrected holes with new routing that reflects modern playability while remaining true to the course’s architectural DNA.

Golf Digest described High Pointe as a “feel-good story,” noting both the quality of the finished course and the significance of bringing an important piece of golf architecture back to life.

Broomsedge Golf Club Recognized Among Best New Private Courses

Broomsedge Golf Club in South Carolina was recognized as the runner-up in the Best New Private Course category within Golf Digest’s Best New Courses of 2025 rankings.

Designed by Mike Koprowski and Kyle Franz, Broomsedge opened in late 2024 and has quickly earned acclaim for its bold shaping, strategic variety, and immersive use of the natural landscape.
